Employess

Employess, 2017
The work is a series of photographs taken at various construction sites. The subject is the small, makeshift spaces where workers pray, eat, and rest. At each site, the workers create these intimate areas from found materials like blocks, wood, and rugs, imbuing them with a sense of home and belonging. This project isolates and elevates these humble, temporary structures, presenting them on a clean canvas, separate from the chaos of the construction site. This curation highlights the profound human need for comfort and personal space, transforming ordinary objects into a poignant commentary on identity and resilience within a transient environment.
